SO, HOW DOES THE VIRTUAL HOT MINI 5K WORK?

All who have registered for the Sola Hot Mini 5k are now registered through our virtual platform. T-shirts will still be guaranteed to all who register by August 28th. To ensure you get a race t-shirt, please take note of this cutoff date.

Participants will have the opportunity to log their 5k time between the dates of 9/14-9/21. You will receive an email roughly a week prior to this time window with a link to our race timing site. Further instructions for logging your time will be provided in this communication. A big shout-out to our race timer, FS Series, for their help with this virtual race!

WHAT ABOUT FUNDRAISING, T-SHIRTS, AND AWARDS?

 As previously communicated, all registrations are non-refundable. All proceeds are being donated to Team Drea Foundation, Duke ALS Clinic, and ALSTDI to further research efforts to end ALS. Thank you for supporting this fight so dear to our hearts!

Fundraising teams are still the best way to spread the word about the Sola Hot Mini 5k! Recruit people for your team, share your donation page on social media, and help defeat ALS! The top fundraising team will be presented with an award from Sola Coffee Cafe.

Awards will be presented to:
-A number of randomly chosen runners who submit their time
-The top fundraising team

Awards are to be announced so be on the lookout!

T-shirt pickup will take place at Sola Coffee Cafe (7705 Lead Mine Rd.) during the week of 9/14-9/18. PLEASE NOTE: for the safety of our participants and race organizers, we will be assigning specific pick-up dates and times based on last name. You will receive an email with your assigned date by September 1st. Masks will be required when present at t-shirt pickup and social distancing measures will be in effect.
