On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, 272 athletes have successfully registered for the 2025 Umstead 100 mile event. 224 are competing in the 100 mile event and 48 in the 50 mile event. A staggering 88 of these athletes will be attempting their FIRST 100 mile ultra marathon. They need our help finishing.
You have offered to help these athletes finish this epic event by joining the RaceReach volunteer team. We'll be volunteering from 1AM - 7AM Sunday, during the "witching hours," when dropout rate is highest.
We will provide more details in early 2025.
