UNC’s SHAC Clinic is the oldest student-run free clinic in the US. Join us in celebrating the SHAC’s 57th anniversary at the SHAC 5K & Health Fair on Sunday, November 19th!

Last year a record field of 180 runners and walkers registered to support UNC's SHAC Clinic.  Chandler Keith defended the title he won 2022 with an event record 18:03, while Mickayla Kleyn was the fastest female completing the UNC Campus course in 21:04.  Catherine Rueckeis holds the event record for the women after posting a 19:45 in 2022.

100% of the proceeds will go towards SHAC’s free health services for our uninsured and underinsured neighbors in Chapel Hill, Carrboro, and Durham. Whether you sign up for the 5K or donate - your help and support is greatly appreciated!

The 5K starts and finishes at 7:30 am at the UNC Campus Y Courtyard located at 180 E Cameron Ave in Chapel Hill.  Free parking is available anywhere on campus.  Parking is also available on Franklin Street.
