Last year over 1,400 runners and walkers registered for this event with Darren Dlugo winning in 18:25.  April Goetz won the women’s competition in 21:32. Luis Vargas (15:01) and Alice Kassers (19:24) hold the course records, both set in 2018.

The event is held on the Halifax Mall in downtown Raleigh – 300 North Salisbury Street for your GPS.  Click here to download a course map.

The 5K begins at 9 am while the mile starts at 9:20 am.

Participants in the 5K can register as either a Competitive (timed) entrant or a Recreational (non-timed entrant).  Competitive entrants will be listed in the official results and be eligible for awards.  However, all participants will be able to see their finishing times on a digital clock by the finish line.
