WHEN: April Dates: 4/13/2023, 4/20/2023 AT 6:15PM (if all goes well, we’ll continue May-September. Dates will be the 1st & 3rd Thursdays. Rain dates will be the week following the planned date.)
 
WHERE: Triangle Church 2103 Page Rd, Durham, NC 27703 Lots of parking. Convenient from most places. 
This is a church parking lot. Behave. ONLY use the church bathrooms for nature breaks and changing or we’ll loose the venue. No Alcohol. Leave your area clean. Stay off the islands please. Kids are welcome.
 
COST: $15 (no extra conveience fees.) Register online only. No cash collected onsite. 
(covers bathroom consumeables and cleaning, online registration, cones, numbers, bales, insurance, prizes, personnel)
First number is free. Use it for every race.
Kids races are free. No registration.
 
TIME: Course opens at 5:30
B race starts at 6:15 (45min).  Kids race ages 4-9 7:00. Kids race 10-13 7:05. A race starts at 7:15 (60mins).  
Feel free to ride under the lights post race until 9.
 
PAYOUT/PRIZES: $15 cash for 1st Man, Woman, and Junior per race. 2nd -Prize, 3rd -Prize. If reg exceeds 40 people for the night, then cash payout for 1,2,3 places. $15,$10,$5. Must be present at Podium to collect.
 
PODIUM PICS: YES because pics are fun ... immediately after the race. Top 3.
 
DETAILS:
A race is 60 minutes for experienced racers (i.e. usac cat 1-3). If you don’t know then this is probably not your race.
B race is 45 minutes for new racers or (usac cat 4-5). No sandbaggers.
Kids 4-9 distance is front of the building to part of the finish stretch (see course map BLUE arrow) 
Kids 10-13 distance is one inner loop lap (see course map GREEN arrow)

Field limit 35 per race (to be adjusted if we feel the course can handle more or less)
Typical USAC rules apply.
• Free lap rule in effect for mishaps, ... not rest breaks. Due to the nature of the course, dropped riders will be asked to re-enter from the wheel pit at the back of the main group when it comes around so that we don’t have riders scattered around the course. Keep getting back in and getting better. Dropped riders must retire with one lap to go.
• No aero bars, No straight bars, No power assist bikes,
• Required: BarEnd plugs, Brakes, Helmets, normal safety stuff
 
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: The community of us makes this work! We need road marshalls and camera operators per race. If you can help, please contact us.

PARKING: park in the interior lot.
WARM-UP: use the course. If you follow an ongoing race. DO NOT MIX IN /INTERFERE.
COURSE: .3 mile 5 corner technical parking lot, flat with one slight rise to the sprint finish. See the course under the "overview" link at the top right and chose "location". Were working with local authorities to procure a closed course that would be .5 miles. Until those details are ironed out were running the inner loop course.
