We started this team in 2010 in memory of a young man who decided life was too tough, Michael Carpenter. I never dream that this would become an annual event to get together to remember him on the second weekend in October. Not only do we get together but we raise a lot of money over $50,000 to date. Since it is our eleventh walk , how about everyone give an extra $11 this year? As a reminder all our donations gets used as seed capital which means they get other organizations to match ours. They also fund all types of research from various forms of depression, ptsd, alcoholism, etc.
