About Team Chili Peppers
Team Chili Peppers is a group of individuals who want to make a change and believe MENTAL ILLNESS MATTERS. We come together and walk for those who lost their lives to mental illness and help support those who are dealing with mental illness today. Our goal is to educate people, eliminate the stigma and help fund scientific research. Over the last seven years we have raised $43,414.00 for The Foundation of Hope for Research and Treatment of Mental Illness! Please join our team in the fight against mental illness! Each one of us can make a difference. Together we make change.
Why am I fundraising?
I found this organization and created Team Chili Peppers in 2013 after I lost my brother to mental illness. Mark was a brilliant person, who touched the lives of many people. I will remember Mark for his sense of humor, passion for equality, and love for HOT chili peppers! Mark wanted to make the world a better place, so in his memory I lead Team Chili Peppers in the fight against mental illness. Over the last seven years we have raised a total of $43, 414.00 for this very important cause!!! Please join me and Team Chili Peppers for another incredible fundraising year! All of the money raised will help fund scientific research aimed at discovering the causes and potential cures for mental illness in order to develop a more effective means of treatment.
