Team Isaac was established in 2022 in honor of Isaac Jacobson who lost his life to suicide on March 11, 2022.
Team Isaac walkers & donors 2022 & 2023 raised 11,070.00 & 14,109.91 for the 2025 Team Isaac. One member was able to use his matching funds program at his work. Walk for Hope funds are for research in partnership with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Department of Psychiatry.

Team Isaac will continue on with the WALK FOR HOPE 2025 We are seeking donors and team members to walk and help raise $ in support of mental health.

Together we are joining Walk For Hope 2025 to erase stigmas, raise awareness, and to raise $ to empower research efforts that will one day end mental illness and the dreadful perils that often accompany it.

We are grateful for the support of our family and friends that enabled us to champion an effort in our son's memory. We are grateful for your support.

We are raising money in memory of our son, Isaac (4/8/95- 3/11/22.) He was 26
years old when he died by suicide.
For the Walk for Hope 2025, we continue to embrace CHAAMP (Child and Adolescent Anxiety and Mood Disorders Program), launched by the Foundation for Hope in 2021.
These efforts resonate in our hearts because we believe that as Isaac struggled from a young age. Isaac was intelligent, gentle, kind, and compassionate as well as quiet, shy, and insecure. Other traits developed perfectionism, fear of failure & isolation.
We don’t know all the reasons that led Isaac to end his life. We will always grieve the loss of Isaac.
We participate in The Walk for Hope in the hope that effective treatments can be found & lives will be saved.
I know or know of
others who died by suicide including Drew, Chris, Eric, Charlie and Austin. They and the people they left behind are not forgotten.
