Sunset Swim + Beer Social

NEW for 2018!!

The YMCA Wrightsville Beach Triathlon festival is excited to add a Friday evening open water swim to the race weekend. Athletes will swim with an incoming tide beginning near the south end of Wrightsville Beach and end at the Blockade Runner. This will be a timed event with awards for overall and masters overall athletes.
 
Athletes and spectators are invited to join us for a beer social after the swim event. Help us kick off this weekend-long event by sampling some local breweries and enjoy the sunset on the water. Tickets to the beer social are included with registration for participating in the Friday swim, and friends and family can purchase a ticket to drink.

We will provide 1 shuttle to take athletes from the Blockade Runner to the South end.
Shuttle service begins at 5:15pm
Last shuttle will leave at 6:00pm
Race Start 6:15pm

Chip pickup will be on-site at the Blockade Runner soundside beach.
