ATT 10 Miler Volunteer Positions

Distribute bibs, shirts - Saturday October 10

Two parking monitors for the trailhead at race headquarters. Must be at least 21. Saturday, October 10

Even with the race going on, we have to leave some parking available for the general public using the trail. Parking monitors will assist general public parking, also welcome volunteers, staff, vendors and media. Direct runners and spectators to USA Baseball parking.

One parking monitor White Oak Baptist Church. Must be at least 21. Saturday, October 10

We park about 20 cars in the gravel lot at White Oak Baptist Church. One parking monitor is needed to welcome runners and direct parking as best as possible in the gravel lot. When the parking lot is "full", take the Race Parking sign and return to race headquarters.

Three parking monitors remote parking lot. Must be at least 21. Saturday, October 10. Welcome runners/spectators coming to park. Be on the lookout for the arrival of the shuttle buses, provide maps for shuttle bus drivers, make sure first round trip goes successfully. When the race starts, no need to monitor the parking lot, so return to race headquarters.

Locations along the AT Trail, volunteers must be 18 years and older. One course monitor at the turnaround point 5 miles from race HQ (will need own transportation or walk/jog/bike to it). One course monitor at 4-mile turnaround point 2 miles from race HQ (will need own transportation or walk/job/bike to it).

Oversee Water stop, distribute water, clean up. Must be 21. Saturday, October 10
Water stop 1 is at the trail crossing of the ATT and New Hope Church Road. Must provide own transportation to water stop.

Set up water stop, distribute water to runners and clean up. Saturday October 10

Lead Bike for 1st Male Runner in 10-mile race, 1st Female Runner in 10-mile race, lead runner in 4-mile race. You must be able to ride 5- to 6-minute miles for 10-miles to keep up with our elite runners!

Follow the last runner - one for the 10-Miler and one for the 4-Miler. Saturday, October 10

Record runners time as finishing Saturday October 10

Water bottle distribution as runners finish Saturday October 10

Assist and coordinate the refreshments, post race. Must be 21. Saturday October 10

Set up finish line refreshments, cut up fruit, bagels. Distribute to runners
Saturday October 10

Replenish snacks and distribute to runners, assist with clean-up
Saturday October 10

Set up tables, distribute water to water stops
Saturday October 10

Collect trash, tables from water stops. Saturday October 10
