GTE-57 Tallahassee Packing List

Here’s your essential packing list for GTE-57, ensuring you’re ready for the hybrid running/rucking.
Mandatory Gear:
  • Rucksack (20-30L capacity) – Able to hold a 30 lbs Ruck Plate
  • Hydration System – CamelBak or similar bladder (2L+ recommended) for hands-free hydration.
  • Electrolyte Powder/Tablets – LMNT / Drip Drop recommended - train with it prior! 
  • Headlamp with Red Light Mode – Essential for night navigation and preserving night vision.
  • Extra Batteries or extra Headlamp with Red Light Mode
  • Glow Sticks (4) – Assorted Colors.
  • 1 Gallon Milk Jug (Empty)
  • 4 Canvas Sandbags (Empty)
  • Reflective Bands X2 (Ruck and on person)
  • Notebook & All-Weather Writing Utensil
  • Carabiner
  • Working gloves
  • 50 foot paracord
  • Government issued Identification Card
  • 3X5 Notecard w/ Hospital Name, DOB/ Emergency contact info, relevant medical information, vehicle make/model/license plate info, parking location, key location.

Recommended Gear:
  • Hat/Buff – For sun protection during the day and warmth at night.
  • Snivel Gear- Appropriate layers for the weather and training evolutions. 
  • Energy Gels/Caffeine/Snacks – Quick fuel to sustain endurance.
  • Duct Tape/Body Glide – Prevent and treat blisters and hotspots.
  • Compression Sleeves/Socks – Reduce fatigue and improve circulation.
  • First Aid Kit/Foot Care Kit – Include bandages, pain relievers, and any personal meds
