We are very excited to announce the 10th annual SHBHU Small Hands Big Hearts Java Jive Jog 10k/5k on September 13th 2025! For 10 years, we have partnered with Java Jive Coffee and Tea to organize this FUN race. It is always a HUGE success and a VERY memorable race morning! Through the community and Sponsor support, kindness and generosity, the SHBHU mission to nurture children's instinctive compassion continues to grow year after year.

As many of you know, SHBHU provides accessible year-round volunteer opportunities (Compassion Missions) and also is a resource for our youth to propose, lead and organize independent Compassion Projects for causes their hearts are personally drawn to. SHBHU is for the ENTIRE community and run by the community. All are welcome! Together, we will nurture the next philanthropic and kind generation who will be leading the world.

Just as in previous years, in order to be accessible and include ALL people of ALL abilities, there will be a 5k Run/Walk and also a 10k Run. We will also again have FREE REGISTRATION CODES for anyone with ANY SPECIAL NEED (physical or financial) who would like to participate in the race. Our Ambassador Teen Buddies are also on standby and excited to be by anyone's side race morning and walk or run with you. Please contact Anita Pease at anita@shbhu.org for the FREE code and a name and contact information for an Ambassador Buddy if you need or want one!

The 5k and 10k will begin promptly at 8:00am on Saturday, September 13th. We will also then have a 1 mile Kids fun Run immediately following 5k/10k start. You can also support the SHBHU cause this year by registering to run VIRTUALLY and still be guaranteed a race day t-shirt. Don't forget if you are registering race morning ONLY CHECK or CASH will be accepted.
