Overview:
Early Bird Entry Fee: $40 (until January 1, 2026)
First Event: $45
Additional Events: $25
Entry fee includes lineage.
Entry Deadline: July 17, 2026
Eligibility: Since the 2026 State Games of America (SGA) are hosted in State College by the Keystone State Games, ALL PENNSYLVANIA RESIDENTS CAN REGISTER for the SGA just like they would for traditional Keystone Games Events.
In addition, due to the NCSG Neighboring State Policy, athletes from DELAWARE, MARYLAND, NEW JERSEY (Except for Figure skating which is hosted by the Garden State Games), NEW YORK (Except for Figure skating which is hosted by the Empire State Winter Games), and OHIO, CAN REGISTER for the 2026 SGA.
Non-Keystone Games Eligible Athletes: YOU MUST QUALIFY!
If you’re an athlete coming from one of the other 30+ National Congress of State Games (NCSG) Member State programs, qualification is more extensive. Here’s how you may have qualified depending on the year you competed in an NCSG Member State program:
Divisions:
Youth age 11 & under mixed female & male
Youth age 12-15 female
Youth age 12-15 male
Youth age 16-20 female
Youth age 16-20 male
Young adult age 21-34 female
Young adult age 21-34 male
Adult age 35-54 female
Adult age 35-54 male
Senior age 55-64 female
Senior age 55-64 male
Super Senior 65 and over Female
Super Senior 65 and over Male
Events:
Handicap (21 or more games average required)
Scratch (21 or more games average required)
Doubles (athletes must be entered into singles tournament to play in doubles)
The 11 and under division is handicap only. 12 and over can bowl Handicap or Scratch
Format:
All entrants will bowl three (3) games top 5 in each division will advance to the 3 game finals.
Medals will be presented right after the finals
Doubles will be based on Team Average.
Doubles can be any mix of: Youth, Young Adult, Men, and Women
Rules:
Competition will be USBC certified and follow USBC rules. All USBC Awards will be recognized providing the entrant shows a current sanction card.
Rules 319d and 319e will be waived.
Averages:
Highest League average for the 2025-2026 Year Ending (21 games or more WINTER League Only).
Entrants with less than 21 games MUST bowl scratch.
Handicap:
All handicap divisions will use 80% of 220. MUST have current Standing Sheet from ALL leagues bowling in submitted NO later than Tournament check in.

- Any medalist from the 2022 and/or 2024 SGA qualifies to compete at the State Games of America in State College 2026.
