The spotlight is on Happy Valley as the State Games of America Gymnastics (SGA) competition flips into action at Penn State University in 2026! Every two years, this national, multi-sport celebration brings together the best gymnasts from across the country, and this year, it’s coming home to Pennsylvania.
π Who Can Compete?
ALL GYMNASTS FROM PA, NJ, NY, MD, OH ARE NOW ELIGIBLE TO REGISTER AS OF 4/18/2026 AS PER THE SGA ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES!!! DON'T MISS OUT ON AN AMAZING NATIONAL EVENT IN YOUR OWN BACK YARD!!! - LIMITED SPOTS REMAIN FOR GYMNASTS TO COMPETE
Gymnasts from across the USA who qualified in their State Games will gather to compete at SGA 2026. Athletes may compete in their season level or one level higher:

Levels 1–9
-
All XCEL levels
If you qualified in just one event, you’re eligible to compete in all events and the All-Around — giving every athlete the chance to shine on the national stage!
β¨ Special Note: Since Pennsylvania is hosting SGA in 2026, ALL PA residents are eligible to compete in this National Championship, no qualification required.
π₯ Qualifications:

Normally, Gold, Silver, and Bronze medalists from each state qualify for SGA.

For 2026, additional qualification details are available in the SGA General Information.

Pennsylvania athletes automatically earn eligibility as the host state advantage!
π Sanctioning & Requirements:

The competition is officially sanctioned by USA Gymnastics

All athletes must hold a current USAG membership
-
Gymnasts may compete at their current level or one higher from the 2005–2006 season
-
No maximum age! Gymnasts 18+ must complete the USAG Safe Sport course to participate
