Hy Tek Entry
Individuals and teams with access to HyTek programs are encouraged to submit their entries electronically. Directions and email contacts for this will be provided to KSG credentialed coaches upon receipt of their registration materials and to all athletes and coaches by request to the Sport Leader. KSG Registrations and Release forms must be included along with electronic time and event entries for all participating athletes. You may choose to register your paid athlete online or with check as a club (please do not bring individual checks from athletes) If club / team is paying via check, the team check is to be made to Keystone State Games, Inc. and is to be brought to the venue prior to the start of the competition. Entry Fee: $75
Registration Deadline: July 12, 2026 or until a maximum number of swimmers are entered into the meet.
Please be aware that the competition will take place in an outdoor pool at PSU. Outdoor pool. Certified 8 lanes, 50 Meters, Non-turbulent lane lines. The water depth is at least 7 feet at the starting end and at least 3 feet 8 inches at the turn end. Diving well will be used for warm up and cool down for competitors only. The warm up area will be monitored and is to be used strictly by competitors in the current session. Feet first entry is to be used only. Swimmers will be asked to exit if they are playing or being disruptive.
Eligibility:
Eligibility: Since the 2026 State Games of America (SGA) are hosted in State College by the Keystone State Games, ALL PENNSYLVANIA RESIDENTS CAN REGISTER for the SGA just like they would for traditional Keystone Games Events.
In addition, due to the NCSG Neighboring State Policy, athletes from DELAWARE, MARYLAND, NEW JERSEY (Except for Figure skating which is hosted by the Garden State Games), NEW YORK (Except for Figure skating which is hosted by the Empire State Winter Games), and OHIO, CAN REGISTER for the 2026 SGA.
Non-Keystone Games Eligible Athletes: YOU MUST QUALIFY!
If you’re an athlete coming from one of the other 30+ National Congress of State Games (NCSG) Member State programs, qualification is more extensive. Here’s how you may have qualified depending on the year you competed in an NCSG Member State program:
- 2024: All gold, silver, and bronze medalists qualify from NCSG Member State programs, both Winter and Summer.
- 2025: All gold, silver, and bronze medalists qualify from NCSG Member State programs, both Winter and Summer.
- 2026: (before July 1): All gold, silver, and bronze medalists qualify from NCSG Member State programs, both Winter and Summer.
- Any medalist from the 2022 and/or 2024 SGA qualifies to compete at the State Games of America in State College 2026.
Note: Any athlete who has qualified in any event within a particular sport will be eligible to participate in all applicable events within said sport. i.e. A Track & Field athlete who only qualifies in one event in Track & Field, would be eligible to enter as many events within Track & Field allowed by the sport, or Gymnastics that qualifies in one event is eligible to participate in the all-around competition, etc. at the SGA 2026. Conversions will be allowed from Short Course Yards using the approved formulas below:
Let T= difference in number of turns between short and long course
(a) 50, 100, 200, 400 yards to meters Meter time = (yard time x 1.105) + T
(b) 500 or 1000 yards to meters Meter time = (yard time x .8751) + T
(c) 1650 Yard to 1500 meters Meter time = (yard time + 30 seconds)
Rules:
Swimmers may compete in only one division and with maximum of 4 events
"Timed Finals"
Finals will follow USA Swimming rules with some modifications.
Age Groups:
Youth Divisions: 10 & under, 11-12, 13-14. 15-16, 17-18
**SGA reserves the right to combine divisions due to low registration numbers

Individual Events:
Freestyle: 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m,
Butterfly: 50m, 100m, 200m
Backstroke: 50m, 100m, 200m
Breaststroke: 50m, 100m, 200m
Individual Medley (IM): 200m, 400m
Relay Events:
Freestyle Relay: 200m
Medley Relay: 200m
swimmers will need someone to do their timing and counters for the 400 free and the 500 free.
