Join us and bring all your friends as we assemble at the Lexington County Blowfish baseball stadium to embark on a day filled with fun and fellowship. The inaugural Lake Murray Ride of Champions, hosted by Lexington County FCA, has variety like none other. Early in the ride, enjoy an out and back section that features both the low and high side of the Saluda Shoals Dam, commonly known as the Lake Murray Dam. Then, as you cross back through Lexington, enjoy the rural, scenic roads Lexington County has to offer.
English Century riders will truly get a feel for one of the largest man-made hydro-electric reservoirs in the country. At one point, with its over 600 miles of shoreline, it was once the world's largest man-made reservoir. The rural setting for the middle miles of this route is simply stunning as you pass into Saluda County and cross over the western side of the Lake at its headwaters near the confluence of Big Creek and the Saluda River. You will have ridden the eastern, southern and western sides of one of SC's most prestigious lakes.
