The NCRC Classic Half-Marathon & 10K Races are now in their 25th year and considered to be two of the Triangle area’s premier distance races. This year's race will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024.
In 2023, Omar Wiggan (1:23:18) won the half marathon men's race, Eleni Rundle (1:34:57) won the women's race. Gideon Ruhl (39:27) and Erin Taylor (42:01) were the top finishers in the 10K.
Both the 10K and half-marathon have USATF certified “out-and-back” courses that start on paved road, transition through crushed-gravel and the hard-packed bridle trails of Umstead State Park, and finish on pavement. Both the 10K and 13.1 courses officially close at 10:30 a.m.
