The Outer Banks Ride of Champions was brought about by Ryan Wright (FCA Cycling), Tom Keeley (Chesapeake, VA FCA champion) and Lori Williams (Director of Operations for Northeast NC FCA (NENC)) as they individually considered how to bring cycling to the Outer Banks. This collision of FCA mind has resulted in the inaugural event planned for May 3, 2025.
