COMPETITION FORMAT:
The age determination date is July 8.
Registered Definition: Participants that are members of national shooting sports organizations (Amateur Trapshooting Association or the National Skeet Shooting Association) and participate in their respective sanctioned shooting events.
Non-Registered Definition: Participants that do not participate in nationally sanctioned shooting events as referenced in the Registered category (i.e., this category is for recreational shooters).
All events are 12 gauge; any other gauge will be classified as 12 gauge.
The trap will shoot 50 targets at 16 yards (2 rounds of trap). Skeet will shoot 50 targets (2 rounds of skeet).
Check-in at the competition site. Participants must be on the field by 2:30 p.m. to participate.
Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded in each age group for non-registered and registered.
The awards ceremony will be held at the club at 3:00 p.m. or when shooting is complete, whichever is first.
Lunch will be available courtesy of Lyon County 4-H Shooting Sports as a fundraiser for their efforts.
