Ride, have fun, and contribute to Vance-Granville Community College's Endowment Fund as well as the Vance County United Way. We have rides for all riders! The 9-mile Family Fun Ride is perfect for beginners and families. A 20-mile course suits cyclists ready for a bit more. The 30-miler rolls through forest and farmland; 60-mile ride spurs off the 30 to visit Kerr Lake.
This year's ride with help VGCC's Endowment Fund to support scholarships for students enrolled in Health Sciences programs at the college. Programs include Associate Degree Nursing, Radiography, Practical Nursing, Histotechnology, Medical Assisting, and Pharmacy Technology.
Proceeds from this year's ride will also go to the Vance County United Way. Their goal is to help to support the work of local public service agencies such as the Addition Recovery Center for Men, Community Partners of Hope, Smart Start, Juvenile Crime Prevention Council, Life Line Outreach and the Harold Sherman Adult Day Center.
Both VGCC and the Vance County United Way are celebrating their 50th anniversaries this year. Come and celebrate with us!
