Mt. Gilead Baptist Church completely supports the efforts of the Foundation of Hope. Our Christian belief is built on a foundation of Hope. We hope and expect that we will receive benefits for promises given. As Christians, we are instructed in humility to value others above ourselves not looking to our own interests but to the interest of others. Mental Illness knows no favorites. We are all subject to the causes of mental illness and we believe we are all called to help those who suffer.
Why am I fundraising?
There is still a lot to be learned about how the brain works and behavior. Everyone is affected by mental illness in some way. We support research to better understand mental illness, new therapies for those inflicted, and support for their family members.
