Last year's race had an amazing turnout with 476 registered runners and walkers and $29,000 raised towards bridging the gap between our refugee neighbors and a thriving life. This would not have been possible without the 70+ volunteers who made it all happen!!

Packet Pick Up - Thursday, April 30

Help run our packet pick up for participants at the RHP Welcome Center in North Raleigh the Thursday night before the race - April 30th from 2-6pm

Packet Pick Up - Friday, May 1

Help run our packet pick up for participants at the RHP Welcome Center in North Raleigh the Friday afternoon before the race - May 1 from 2-5pm.

Set Up Crew - Saturday, May 2

Help us set up race day - looking for people physically able to help lift and move tables, chairs, unload boxes, etc.

Water Station Crew - Saturday, May 2

These volunteers will help set up the race route water station, pass out water to participants during the race, and help break down water station after the race is over! This job require standing for long periods of time!

Lobby Monitor - Saturday, May 2

this volunteer will be stationed INSIDE the King's Chapel building monitoring the lobby, directing people towards the direction of the restrooms, making sure people stay outside of blocked off rooms, etc.

Route Pointers - Saturday, May 2

These are our MOST important volunteers of the day!! These volunteers will be positioned along the race route to direct racers in the right direction and ensure safe road/trail conditions for participants. It is mandatory from the city of Raleigh and Raleigh PD to have these volunteers in place! :) **Preferred 21 years old or older.

We are looking for these volunteers to bring the hype and energy to our 5k finish line! We will have signs and pom poms and encourage finish line volunteers to bring their own items if they wish! Help us create a really fun and encouraging atmosphere to our racers as they finish their 5k race!!
