Joseph Fraticelli took top honors in 5K run with a 19:21 clocking. Mia Lanuti won the women’s competition in 22:50. Ryan Kaat holds the course record for this event running 16:19 in 2011. Michelle Langan set the women’s standard of 17:39 in 2014.

Once again, the event will be held at the Soccer Park with the mile run beginning at 8:30 am, and the 5K starting at 9 am.

Proceeds from the race will benefit BirthChoice, which has been providing free services to pregnant women in the Raleigh area since 1971 by offering pregnancy tests, limited Ultrasounds, and other services at no cost and with no obligations. They make sure their clients are cared for in a respectful and loving environment, and that they are empowered to make an informed decision. Registrants in the 5K and mile can register either as a competitive or recreational entry. Competitive entrants will receive an official time and be eligible for awards.
