Pamlico Rose has bent to the reality of COVID-19 and after rescheduling our annual bike ride twice, we have decided to take the road less burdensome and make the 3rd annual ride VIRTUAL. Heeding social distancing, Oct 10 at 8 am EST, the Treva Inzerillo Ride for Rose Haven: Supporting Women Veterans will kick off in a live-streamed start in Washington, NC from the Rose Haven Center of Healing and wherever our rider/supporters are across the country. Pamlico Rose staff and BoD members, and other local riders will set off following the start on their route that day (we will post our route prior to the ride on the RFRH Facebook page and will post periodically through the ride, we encourage others to do the same!). No matter the distance of your ride that day, a 10 mile fun ride or a Century, your registration will promote support for women Veterans by raising awareness of issues that affect transition and reintegration and actual programming at the Rose Haven Center of Healing, a center dedicated to serving women Veterans (www.pamlicorose.org).

You can become a rolling human billboard to support us as your registration will include a RFRH tee-shirt. You can also order the first and original RFRH bike jersey (below).

For more information on ordering, email Kaitlyn@pamlicorose.org.

The RFRH is one of several events included in the Healing Vets Weekend. Other events a Veteran/Active Military art exhibit, VET Talks, and the Veteran Outreach Fair. All profits go to Pamlico Rose, the rehabilitation of Rose Haven and its programs to help women Veterans reintegrate into communities and build resilience. For more information on the RFRH or Healing Vets Weekend, contact Kailtyn at Kaitlyn@pamlicorose.org

About Treva Inzerillo
Treva Inzerello is in her 50s, fulfilling a dream that she held onto for over 30 years, to ride her bicycle across the country. Though it may be more common to ride from west to east, and more comfortable not to ride through the heat of the summer, Treva is holding tight to her dream. Leaving on June 5th from the Coast of North Carolina Treva will reach the Pacific in Oregon via the Trans America Bicycle Trail. Not only a dreamer Treva is also a generous donor raising awareness and asking for donations to Pamlico Rose. For more information on Treva's Journey listen to episode 3 of the Rose Haven Chronicles:

As of August 4th, 2020 Treva is in South Dakota!
