Thank you for visiting this page and your interest in riding the Outer Banks with us.
Rather than hosting this ride as an organized, supported ride, we have decided to host it as a quasi-supported group ride. We are working on details, and they will largely depend on how many of you are interested in gathering to ride. In this format, there will be no charge to ride; however, support will be limited.
The Outer Banks has numerous convenience stores, grocery stores, restaurants and other retail outlets whereby we can satisfy restroom and nutritional needs. If you are interested, please e-mail Ryan Wright at rwright@fca.org or Lori Williams at loriwilliams@fca.org.
We plan to revisit the idea in 2026 and will certainly keep you posted.
Come be a part of a unique cycling event!
The Outer Banks Ride of Champions was brought about by Ryan Wright (FCA Cycling), Tom Keeley (Chesapeake, VA FCA champion) and Lori Williams (Director of Operations for Northeast NC FCA (NENC; see photo below)) as they individually considered how to bring cycling to the Outer Banks. This collision of FCA champions has resulted in the inaugural event planned for May 3, 2025.
Would you join FCA Cycling as we seek to support the continuing ministry of NENC FCA? We hope to see you soon!
