A Trail to Be Thankable For

The Umstead Marathon is a spectacular 26.2-mile journey entirely contained within the beautiful, winding trails and rolling hills of William B. Umstead State Park. With approximately 2,400 feet of total elevation gain, this course offers the perfect mix of challenge and natural beauty—a true North Carolina gem that makes every mile rewarding. It’s the perfect setting to push your limits and kick off your spring racing season.

We know you run for the challenge, but we also believe in celebrating your accomplishment! Every registered runner will receive a custom race t-shirt, and all finishers will be rewarded with our coveted Umstead Marathon Finisher Pint Glass.

Post-Race Celebration at Gizmo Brewing

We look forward to celebrating your accomplishment! The official post-race gathering will be held just a few miles from the park at Gizmo Brewing. Join us for local craft beer, camaraderie with fellow runners, and a chance to relax after conquering the marathon.
