Can I register on race day?
Yes, race-day registration will be available. However, we strongly encourage registering in advance because time will be limited on race morning. If you plan to register that morning, please arrive early.

When and where is packet pickup?
Friday, October 30, 12:00-6:00pm | The Bend Bar, 853 W Morgan Street, Raleigh, NC 27603

How can I see who has joined my team?
Log in to your registration account and visit the Teams tab to view your team and its registered members.

What do participants receive?
Participants will receive an event t-shirt at packet pickup. Register by October 15 to be guaranteed a shirt. Category winners will receive prizes, and everyone who crosses the finish line will receive a Tiff’s Treats cookie. Participants age 21 and older may also enjoy a Trophy Brewing beer.

Can children age 5 and under participate in the 5k?
Yes! Children age 5 and under may participate for free without registering. If you would like your child to receive a bib and an official race time, they will need to be registered.

RACE DAY

Where should I park?
The best options are the parking decks along Salisbury Street and the Wilmington Street Parking Deck, located between Martin Street and Hargett Street. Both are within walking distance of the start and finish line.

Can walkers participate?
Yes! Walkers are welcome to participate in the 5k.

Are strollers allowed?
Yes, strollers are welcome.

Are dogs allowed?
Yes! Dogs must remain on a leash at all times. Please be mindful of other participants, spectators and dogs.

Is water available along the course?
Yes. Water will be available at the start and finish line and near the entrance to Historic Oakwood Cemetery.

Is the course USATF certified?
Yes. The course is USATF certified under certification number NC26021BDS.

STREET FESTIVAL

Do I need to register to attend the street festival?
No! The street festival is free and open to the public. Registration is only required to participate in the 5k. Register for the 5k

How long is the Kids’ Dash? Do children need to register?
The Kids’ Dash is approximately one block, running along Wilmington Street from Hargett Street to Morgan Street- about 450 feet. Registration is not required. The dash will begin around 10:00am, and the DJ will announce when it’s time for children to gather at the starting line.

Can I wear a costume?
Absolutely- costumes are encouraged! Stick around after the race for our popular Costume and Dance Contest at approximately 10:10am.

Is face painting free?
Yes! Face painting is free, although tips for the artists are encouraged. Face painters will be available from 8:00-10:00am, so be sure to stop by early.
