Parking
Raven Rock Ramble has been hosted by Harris Lake County Park since its inception in 2002. During that time the population in South-West Wake County has increased substantially. Today, Harris Lake County Park has become a highly used neighborhood park.
As such, Raven Rock Ramble's ability to continue using the park is predicated on our ability to share the park with other users. That is primarily a parking issue. We have agreed with Wake County to institute these changes to our event:

As such, Raven Rock Ramble's ability to continue using the park is predicated on our ability to share the park with other users. That is primarily a parking issue. We have agreed with Wake County to institute these changes to our event:
- Event is capped at 600 riders
- RRR will heavily encourage carpooling
- Vehicles with 2 or more riders will be allowed to park near the Longleaf Shelter until the lot is full.
- RRR will hold open spots for the kayak launch near the Longleaf Shelter
- RRR will hold open more handicap parking
- RRR will hold open the disc golf parking
- Encourage participants to leave car parked in the main field and ride to lunch
- RRR participants will be restricted from parking on the Cypress Shelter side of the park. This includes driving up for lunch after completing their route. This side will be left open for other park users.
- There is limited overflow parking at the park office
- If needed, overflow will be 1.5 miles up the road at the Harris Energy & Environmental Center
- As always, there is no parking along roadways
Thank you for doing your part to ensure RRR may continue to use Harris Lake County Park.
